Pink October: Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness of the impact of breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
In Malaysia, 1 in 19 women are at risk of contracting breast cancer, is the most common form of cancer affecting Malaysian women.
In support of the campaign, Young Hearts has conducted numerous awareness activities aimed at increasing public awareness level on breast cancer. This is with a view to encourage early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

Marketing messages #BeAPinkHero will be spread via social media on channels such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok to foster awareness and engagement. We hope to help make the fight against breast cancer a top-of-mind issue for Malaysian.

It’s a special month for all of us, but more importantly for people who have survived breast cancer. Young Hearts offers bunch of amazing deals for all the women out there and their loved ones on this special month. So, this is the perfect time of the year to treat yourself something nice!
Supporting the pink corner campaign is so easy and fun
Let’s keep our awareness for breast cancer. We set up a pop-up in Sogo I-City and display all sorts of our pink deal’s products. There is also a mini pink ribbon wall for customers to show their support to this important cause.

BCWA x Young Hearts
We’re in for a good cause! This year, Young Hearts hold a charity sale, aiming to raise fund for support Breast Cancer Welfare Association Malaysia (BCWA) in their fight against breast cancer. For every pink lingerie storage box sold, we donate RM5 to BCWA. A cause close to our hearts, this box is a great way to keep your lingerie neatly organized.
It is our honor to invite BCWA nurse to works together to come out with an educational video for women to become aware of the symptoms, factors, and self-examination for breast cancer.
